A gust of wind blows by as he stares down at a campsite and looks at his mission…
Shinrok: Why....why....is...it......I hesitate?

Chapter 8: the power within
David: Ahhh, how much farther?!!!!
Michael: And here we go....
Anna: We’re close.
David: You said that 5 hours ago.
Anna: Well, it shut you up for 5 minutes...and this time I'm not lying; the closest campsite is just over this h- (gets interrupted)
Michael: Anna, why is there a big cloud of smoke...
Anna: That’s coming from the same direction as the camp…
(Michael takes off running)
Anna: Hold on....... Shit (runs after him, with David following close behind her)
Michael: Come on!! Hurry up!!!!
Anna: Why are you in such a hurry?
Michael: Because... I...
--They reach the top of the hill....
Michael: *gasp*
Anna: What is i-
(over the hill, they found the camp completely engulfed in flames)
Anna: ...No...NO! ...It can't be... This…can't be right!!!
Michael: Anna! Damn it, quit denying it and get your ass moving!!!
Anna: But...but…
Michael: No buts. The longer you sit there being a dumbass, the less chance we have of saving them!!
Anna: ... (drops to her knees, staring at the camp)
Michael: Damn it, I'll go ahead then!!
Michael: This feeling… I know this feeling; it’s him...
(jumps down the hill and runs toward the burning camp)
David: Anna.....Anna?
(Anna just stares blindly at the burning camp)
David: Wha-what do I do...
(Michael runs through many trees, and he finally gets to the clearing)
Michael: I knew it was you… Shinrok.
Shinrok: Hmmm, interesting… I didn't expect this encounter. Unfortunately, I'm too busy to play with you right now.
Michael: Don't give me that shit!!
(charges at Shinrok)
(Shinrok puts his hand up)
Michael: Ugh, what the…
Shinrok: I'll tell ya what… if you can get through my barrier, I'll play with you for a bit.
Michael: Damn it, what the hell is wrong with you?!
(Michael slashes the barrier)
Michael: Damn it...nothing.
(slashes the barrier again)
Michael: Damn it!
(hits the barrier rapidly)
Shinrok: You’re not gonna be able to break it with pure brute force...
Michael: Shut up!!!! (while constantly hitting the barrier over and over again)
Shinrok: Damn, he never gives up. but, it seems he's gotten more control over his sword...he really is stronger than I thought. (grins)
Shinrok: Have you ever even tried to learn how to use your sword’s true power?
Michael: What the hell are you talking about?
Shinrok: Haha, that’s what I thought.
Shinrok: In your state, your sword couldn't even scratch my barrier.
(Michael looks at the barrier where he was constantly slashing)
Michael: He’s right...not one scratch at all...but how…
Shinrok: How pathetic.
Michael: I'm pathetic? Ha! Look who’s hiding behind a wall!
A voice: Shinrok, what’s taking so long?
Michael: That voice…
Shinrok: Sorry, my lord, I found some company.
(Michael stands there with his eyes wide open)
Varcus: Heh heh heh, long time no see.....Michael.
(Michael clenches his fist so hard that it starts to bleed)
Michael: Damn you!! Get out from behind there so I can rip your head off!!!
Varcus: Wow, what a weird little imagination you have.
Michael: Damn you!!
(Michael picks up his sword and starts wailing on the barrier)
Shinrok: I told you, it’s no use.
Michael: (slash) Damn it! (slash) Damn it! (slash) Damn it, quit hiding!!!!
A voice from Michaels head: Oh, will you stop this useless shit?
Michael: What?! Where did that come from?! Who said that?!
Michael:wait, Where am I...?
The voice: What? Don't you remember this place?
Michael: What do you mean…"this place”?
Michael: Who are you?! And what do you want?!
The voice: How sad, you don't remember.
Michael: Remember?!!! What the hell are you talking about?!!!
The voice: It makes me oh so sad that you don't remember me.
The voice: *sigh* Oh well, I guess I'll have to re-introduce myself.
(hears footsteps)
The voice: My name is…
(switches to David and Anna)
(David stands up)
David: I'll be back.
(swithes back to Michael)
Voice: But you know me better as the Red Dragon (with a big grin)
Michael: what-but Why do you look more human?
Red Dragon: … And I'm here to have some fun.
Michael: Fun?
Red Dragon: Oh yes, killing those two will be most fun.
Michael: Hell no!!
Red Dragon: Hmm, I'm afraid I wasn't asking.
Michael: I don't care.
Red Dragon: Are you attempting to break the contract?
Michael: What?!! I never made a contract with you!
Red Dragon: *sigh* You really do have the worst memory I've ever seen. Don't you remember the fateful day we met?
Michael: Yes, and what do you mean "fateful”?!!
Michael: And I never made any type of contract with you!
Red Dragon: Of course you did. The moment you grabbed my flame, you agreed to the contract.
Michael: You never mentioned a god damned contract!!!!
Red Dragon: Oops, must've slipped my mind, silly me.
Michael: You bastard; you tricked me!!
Red Dragon: Hahaha… So?
Michael: Well, earlier you asked if I was attempting to break the contract... well, here’s my answer…
(goes to grab his sword)
Michael: W-w-where’s my sword?!
Red Dragon: Huh? What sword... oh, you mean this one?
(pulls out Michael’s sword and balances it on his pinky finger)
Michael: Damn it! How did you get that?
Red Dragon: You still gonna try and stop me? (with a grin)
Michael: Damn it. Answer the god damned question!
Red Dragon: I don't believe you’re in the position to give orders to me. (points Michael's sword at him)
Michael: ...
Red Dragon: Now, if you'll be so kind as to just step to the side, I'll be on my way.
Michael: ....Ahhhhhh!!!
Red Dragon: What the hell? I can't believe he’s actually coming after me...heh...fool.
(Red Dragon moves the sword up by his left shoulder, swings it, and a big wave of fire heads toward Michael)
Michael: What...I didn't know it could do that!!
(the wave hits Michael directly)
Red Dragon: Damn fool!
David: Michael, I'll hel- …what the?
Shinrok: So, are you gonna finally give up?
Red Dragon: *laughs*
(transforms Michael’s sword)
Shinrok: Wait… What the? ...Did you just…?
Red Dragon: Now, Shinrok, what were you saying about my sword’s true power?
(destroys the barrier with one swipe of Michael’s sword)
Red dragon: So now, let’s play... Brother
